"Bittersweet Sentence"
There Is Tragedy In Christmas that
Came With The Myrhh and Frankincense.
When The Three Wise Kings Of Orient
Brought The Baby Jesus The First Christmas
Gifts, they were Gold, Frankincense, and myrrh.
myrrh is a burial spice used to anoint the dead.
Jesus knew, and Mary And Joseph Knew, and
The Wise Men Knew, That Jesus Was The Messiah
They Brought Him the meaning of myrhh that Jesus
Would Someday Die For All Of Our Sins.
This makes Christmas Bittersweet. They Gave Him
Gold Because He Was A King, and Spices to symbolize
His imminent Martyrdom on The Cross. So Mourn.
Weep and be sad at the bittersweet price Jesus had to pay
and they found him and assigned the fate of death to Jesus
On The Day Of His Birth! Jesus Bore A Heavy Load in His Life.
There Were Tears From The First Moments of His Birth.
How would you like to be Jesus' Mother Mary, knowing that one day
He would Be Crucified?

Christmas Morning is Like Being In Heaven
All month the gifts have lain under the tree
wrapped in wrapping paper tape and ribbons
all shapes and sizes all for Theodore and Me
Theodore Comes in early in the morning and
he opens them one by one me squealing in my heart
with joy when his eyes light up every time he opens one
and thanks me for every gift he opens and hungrily
hungrily reaches for another gift to open with a sense of hope
and when he finds the last gift i bite back the tears

Every Year Comes Christmas
Everybody Celebrates around the World
In Their Own Way But
Do They Know
What Christmas means?
This is what it means to me.
Christmas means so many things
To each individual person
To many it means lots of presents
But is there something more to
Christmas that they don't see?
is there a hope and a meaning
and a light in Christmastime that
can only be felt with the heart?
Is christmas really about money?
To so many, christmas is a celebration
of luxury wealth and comfort. Yet
I see a hope in christmas the which,
I don't think they can see it clearly
Whatever it is,I am exploring
what Christmas Really Is About.
It seems it isn't about money or gifts
There is a deeper meaning....

Be Thankful for the littlest things more than
the bigger things not everybody has the bigger things
so be thankful for the things we all have
there are many homeless people who will give thanks
there are people with deadly diseases who will give thanks
there are people who cannot even afford to feed themselves
Yet They Will Give Thanks, It's a season of gratitude to God
That God Provides For Us All In His Own Way
God Smiles on all of us on this Feasting Day!

There Are Thousands Of Varieties
Any Cookie Goes, from the simplest
chocolate chip, to stained glass candy cookies
macaroons of fresh coconut
florentines with candied orange peel
chocolate and heavy cream make truffles

A little Baby gently lay
He was the Christ that we may
Celebrate Salvation Christmas Day!
A Donkey meek and humble mild

Christmas
mugs of
spiced apple cider
egg nog
hot chocolate
peppermint tea
sleepytime tea
crocheting links into a future cap
made to warm a loved ones ears
and necks and temples
snowflakes dancing all around us
big snowdrifts like sand dunes
ice crystals and icicles
frost on window panes
tree branches covered in glassy ice
school cancellations
new toys
family
everybody you love in one room
coming home
christmas morning
cold toes on wooden floors
sneaking in to peek at what santa brought
children staying awake to hear santa on the roof
mama saying she heard jingle bells when she went outside
on christmas eve and reindeer snorting
but they were gone before she could get a good look
God made Christmas
he made it for You and For Me
Christmas is God's Gift to all his Children on earth
you can't help feeling giddy on christmas
the sun shines clearer on christmas day
there's a magic in the air that noone
can quite explain a tangible magic in the air
Christmas is one of the Most Wonderful things in Life
Remember, Jesus bought us the gift of christmas
he paid for it with his crucifixion what a price
so enjoy his labors to save the world because he gave
his life for you and me, and they brought him myrrh at his birth
because they knew he was the one to die for our sins
think of the baby in swaddling cloth that was crucified!
What a price to pay! What a gift it bought for the world!
